The Dragonfly Garden - Sunrise Talks in the Garden

	"Saturday Sunrise Talks in the Garden" began with a spontaneous gathering of friends. In 2004, after the Woolly Thyme had created a carpet in the Center Room, a small group of friends started coming to the garden for a few hours of reflection and meditation. The quality of the early morning sunlight as it cast its rays across the dew drenched garden was truly magical. Our experiences led us to a deeper meaning of Life Force and how it was being shown to us through the garden. Then in 2005, the Omega Room was created as a place for holding larger talks. We purchased colorful folding chairs which stay in the garden all summer. They are shown below tilted on their side, drying off after a light rain. The Heart Room was completed in 2007 and has a fragrant carpet of chamomile that blooms in the summer. We choose which room for the talk based on the number of people and the topic. "Healing Grief and Loss" was perfect for the Heart Room. "Developing Energy Awareness" was perfect for the Omega Room. Our talks always end with plenty of time to graze in the garden and to pick lots of fruit, flowers, and vegetables to take home.
